About Wildlife, Inc.

We would like to introduce ourselves to our new friends. Wildlife, Inc. is a nonprofit organization for the rehabilitation of injured and orphaned wildlife for return to the wild. Wildlife, Inc. is supported entirely by donations and staffed only by volunteers. Founded in 1988, they treated over 3,000 birds, mammals, and reptiles in 1997, more than twice as many as in 1995. By year 2000 the number has grown to over 4,000, and continues to increase.
Invaluable Results.
Many thousands of Florida's unique wildlife have been saved. Our children develop an appreciation for our wild friends and the fragile existence of our environment. We all develop a greater feeling of responsibility and respect for Mother Nature. Our quality of life is improved.
Other Services.
Teaching wildlife and environmental awareness classes in the Manatee and Sarasota School systems. Providing lectures to groups with environmental and nature interest. Working with patients in nursing homes and medical programs with permanently disabled animals. Promoting wildlife awareness throughout the state by attending seminars and workshops.
Our Goal
To acquire property locally and establish a facility to meet the growing need in our community. This facility will be open to the public and continue to educate the children and adults of our community.
