ET Grows up at last, Freedom!
For those of you who may remember meeting "ET" the Barred Owl at some of the festivals attended by Wildlife Inc., he has been released!
He had been an "Educational bird" for six years because of a severe feathering problem that had grounded him. Due to the wonderful care and nutrition provided here, he feathered properly this year and wanted OUT!
The veterinarian gave him a clean bill of health and he had always been able to catch his next meal, so he was released. He is still monitored and has been seen frequenting the K-Mart area on 75th Street and Manatee Avenue.
