Working with wildlife is not an opportunity just to play with the animals. Volunteers frequently handle animals, but our needs involve real work. The work is not always clean so do not wear your best street clothes. Your safety is important and you will not be asked to do dangerous tasks, however, when working with wild animals and birds, an occasional scratch may happen. Results are from a team effort and may take a while to notice, but you will see that you can make a difference. Thank you for your help.
